Town Team welcomes J D Wetherspoon and the promise of investment in the town that the purchase of
the Cinema site represents. We are hopeful that the end is now in sight of the blight that the empty building has been on Western Rd.
We welcome the purchasers, and look forward to the Cinema building once again attracting footfall into the town’s businesses and providing local employment and a leisure offer.

We are mindful that some people are disappointed that Bexhill Community Playhouse Ltd could not complete the purchase, but we look forward to the improved prosperity of the Town Centre when the building eventually re-opens.
