A further £2,000 of the funding was spent on training to help eight organisations in the town to apply for grants. This brought immediate results with one of the participating organisations successfully applying for funding the very next day.

We have used a further £1,000 to begin a Character Assessment of the Town Centre and produce an Economic Development Plan (a condition of the funding), which included a 2 day public consultation at the De La Warr Pavilion and a fact finding visit to 4 regeneration projects. To view these studies please find the ‘related documents’ listed on the right hand side of this page.

£3,000 will be spent on advertising Bexhill's summer events programme in London.

£1,000 will be spent on social media training for Town Centre businesses to help promote the town positively on social media.

All the Coastal Community Team’s funds are held and managed on its behalf by Rother District Council.
